Embassy Suites, Waltham

Embassy Suites, owned and operated by Hilton Hotel and Resorts, is centrally located off of Route I-95 in Waltham, MA, and is minutes from historic Lexington, Concord, and Downtown Boston. Baystate was contracted to fully renovate 275 guestrooms, along with adjacent corridors, the back of house, pool, fitness center, the atrium-styled lobby, registration area, kitchen, and bar, known as the Grill at Hobbs Brook Restaurant.
The comprehensive construction project required two contracts, one for the hotel’s public areas and another for the guest rooms. The more than $8 million project required Baystate to add custom millwork, a new entrance with an automatic revolving door, and a premium water feature in the atrium of the hotel. Baystate also updated the plumbing and added custom electrical work in the newly renovated areas. Onsite construction management allowed Baystate to streamline and coordinate the construction process in an effective manner, which cut costs and helped optimize economics for the client.
